Bakersdozengroup,a challenge'my favourite thing'

The Bakersdozen is a group where 13 ,a bakersdozen is an important item!
There are 13 members in a group for one challenge, the quilt is 13x13 inch!
For the first challenge I made my favourite chair, but put it in a favourite setting.

That fact gives the quilt a little surreal shine.
Below you see some pictures how I started this quilt.

Quilt Art challenge doll-meet Hortense

Another challenge finished....
Jill Smith organised an Artdoll challenge, make an alter ego doll, or make a quilt with a doll
I did both!
I made a doll, clothed it with felted and crocheted garments.
I called her Hortense, purely by coincidence I gave her the colors of a hydrangea,Hortensia in dutch,so hortense is quite suitable
Then I printed a photo and quilted that.....
Looks rather trashy, but perhaps my alter-ego would be a trashy person??????

flowerpower

Earlier this year I did a quiz to find out what flower I am, I came out to be a hydrangea!
That can't be a coincidence that this particular flower is the one I used the most to create ......
Quiltart.com hosted a challenge, and this is what I made.
I am not particular fond of what it looks like, but I think that is part of travelling through the fiberworld.....

Another quizzie

You are an incredibly creative person. For you, there are no bounds or limits to your creativity.
Your next creation could be something very great... Or at least very cool!

"You are just a little bit of a show off and like to prove just what you can do. Every time someone double-dog-dared you, you proved that not only could you do it, but you could do it with style."

I am a
Hydrangea

Are You?
